Hi!
I hope everyone is enjoying "spring." It's been absolutely beautiful, as March always is, here in Florida but you suckers in the North East seem to be having a tough time. As the house I grew up in still has holes in its roof from trees that fell on it, I sympathize. Praying every one gets to enjoy some sunshine, warmer temps, and a stiff tropical cocktail soon. I've been a busy bee lately! I've been checking off boxes within my home and garage.
1940s Make-up Vanity Gets a Shabby Chic Makeover for Some Special Little Girls:
I purchased this really neat make-up vanity in the fall of 2016 for $125. It was very unique looking, and fairly damaged from neglect but I saw a lot of potential in it. It was built in 1947 in North Carolina and had one owner, before being sold here in Florida. After purchasing this as a project for myself, I ended up refinishing other very large pieces of furniture and so this small piece no longer worked in my home.
