Hi everyone!
I hope you all had a beautiful, blessed Easter. It was so nice taking an entire day to relax with friends and family, eat my weight in junk food, and watch my kid (and 500 other toddlers) 'search' for Easter eggs in a field by my home. Basically the Easter eggs were dumped on the ground and the kids ran around in circles missing them until their parents helped them cheat and find them. It was like a very colorful, miniature version of The Hunger Games. So, that was awesome and I closed the day feeling like the happiest, most love-filled human on the entire planet. Life is really good. Back to reality, Monday hits and I wake up sick as a dog. That's fine -- I don't expect much more from Mondays lately considering this has been the pattern that's graced my entire winter. It's now the end of the week and I'm finally feeling like a regular person who has full control of her nasal passages and brain functions. I'm so excited to talk to you about the Keller Project I'm working on with Mainstay Properties! ***UPDATE: during the bathroom process we were commissioned to also refinish Ms. Keller's kitchen! YAY! Here are original pictures of the home before she moved in!
She hired someone to remove a non-load bearing wall, and tile a backsplash/ the stairs before Mainstay and YWT (that's me) were hired. This is what the home looked like after the wall was removed.
Ms. Keller is young, and fun, and stylish and these before pictures, from the Townhouse she recently purchased in South Tampa, did not reflect her personal tastes or style. Both spaces needed some glam! She picked out the flooring, quartz and bathroom tiles herself, with a little "You Go Girl/ No Girl" help from YWT, and a lot of finishing work from Mainstay, and decided to have me paint the vanities rather than replace them for a much higher cost. I was also able to help her source some beautiful World Market marble shelves to house her toiletries (will update with that picture when they're installed but you can see what they look like by clicking the link) in place of the cabinet that hung above the toilet before the makeover. The knobs are from Hobby Lobby, and the gorgeous chandelier is also from World Market.
Here are some powder room and master bath after pictures! I will update once the marble shelves and ceiling mount are installed.
